There are many transmission modes of centrifugal fans, and there are even various models according to different transmission modes. Among them, B, C, and E are all driven and transmitted through belts and pulleys, but the pulley and bearing seat are located. The relative position is different, what is the transmission principle of the belt centrifugal fan? What kind of advantages are there? The following centrifugal fan manufacturers will take you to understand in detail.
1) Transmission principle of belt centrifugal fan
The belt drive is composed of two pulleys fixed on the centrifugal fan shaft and the motor shaft and a closed flexible belt sleeved in the grooves of the two pulleys. The driving wheel and the driven wheel are respectively fixed on the driving shaft (motor shaft) and the driven shaft (fan shaft) with keys, and the two wheels are connected by a belt. Since the belt has a certain initial tension when it is set in the pulley groove, when the pulley on the motor shaft rotates, the belt generates friction between the contact surfaces of the pulley on the motor shaft, and the belt pulley on the motor shaft generates friction. The wheel can drive the movement of the belt, thereby realizing power transmission.
The transmission power of the belt drive can be as high as 1500KW, and it is commonly used to transmit power below 70KW. The linear speed of the belt is generally 5~15. The speed of the belt drive can vary with the diameter of the two pulleys that are driving each other, that is, the speed of the two pulleys is inversely proportional to the outer diameter of the two pulleys. If the rotational speed of the motor remains unchanged, and the rotational speed of the impeller of the centrifugal fan needs to be changed to change the performance of the centrifugal fan, it is only necessary to change the outer diameter of the belt pulley. This is one of the main ways for users to change the performance of centrifugal fans.
2)the advantages of centrifugal fan belt drive
The belt drive adopts a belt with a trapezoidal section, which is installed in the groove of the pulley. The top surface of the belt is below the pulley surface, and the bottom surface of the belt does not contact the bottom surface of the groove, and is pressed against the two inclined surfaces of the pulley groove according to the two sides of the belt. Generates friction and transmits torque. The advantages of belt drive are as follows:
1. When transmitting large power, several belts can be used at the same time. Since the belt is made into a continuous circle without joints, there is a slide rail at the lower part of the motor base, so that the distance of the motor can be moved, and the belt can be tightened after being stretched during assembly or work.
2. The center distance of the belt drive has a wide variation range, so it has strong adaptability and can be adjusted according to the installation location of the centrifugal fan. The structure is simple, the manufacture is simple, the transmission is stable, and it can buffer, and when the centrifugal fan shaft is overloaded or fails When it can’t run, the belt can slip and play the role of overload safety protection.
